Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Dave is the founder and Executive Director of NewLife Counseling. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Michigan State University, a Master of Divinity Degree from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Master of Science Degree from Northern Illinois University. He is a Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He is the current Treasurer of the Illinois Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and formerly Clinical Associate Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy at Wheaton College. Dave has over 30 years of counseling experience with individuals, couples, and families.
